NEW YORK RANGERS TAKE A 2-0 LEAD OVER THE NJ DEVILS IN THE 1st ROUND OF THE N.H.L PLAYOFFS
Well, what more can be said, that has not already been said about the total domination by the NY Rangers over the NJ Devils? Should we talk about the Ranger Power Play? Chris Kreider’s 4, count
them, 4 power play goals, all on perfectly timed tip ins? Vladdy Tarasenko scoring first for the Rangers in
both games? Patrick Kane, being Patrick Kane? Ooooh baby, how bout that pick off Jesper Bratt, and nifty backhand past an overmatched Vanecek? Adam Fox, 6 assists? And playing OUTSTANDING defense?
Speaking of defense……Lingren, Trouba, Miller, Mikkola, and Schneider, blocking shots, stick lanes, throwing the body AND Schneider just kicking McLeod’s ass, handily. Trouba toying will Devil
forecheckers in the waning minutes of game 2? How bout Igor being Igor and shutting down anything
that comes his way? And New Jersey fans, please stop trying to rattle him by chanting his name, derogatorily, its embarrassing. Do you really think Vita Freaking Vanecek is better than Igor? Rhetorical
question, Devil “Fans”. It’s funny still seeing so many Ranger fans in the Rock….hahahaha! Also, it was
Ranger fans who serenaded Marty Brodeur, back in the day, so come original and don’t steal the steez!
Did I mention how embarrassing it is?? Cracks me up, though. I read some other Devil blogger, who,
after Game 1, listed like 7 reasons not to panic. Your Coach panicked…in Game 1 AND game 2. He looks
over matched and outclassed, so far. Jackie Boy, the star of the big stage….1 goal, on a penalty shot, on
a questionable call, in a meaningless spot. He,’s really killing it. He’s assisted on more Ranger goals than
his own gteams, thanks to him SHYING AWAY from big contact. Look, ther Devils have bodied up, on occasion, but by the 3rd period, they play scared. I watch EVERY second of Every game, i have been doing so since I was 6, so I am not picking on anyone and being a homer. Hughes, Hichier, Bratt and Meier, all
try to play hero . It’s a team game, boys, its not the wide open game of the regular season. I have been
saying that for the last month. Playoff hockey really is different.
The ice shrinks, it matters to have
playoff experience, you really do have to adjust period to period. So far, Lindy Ruff, his staff, nor his players, have done so. Ondres Palat looks like he wishes he was back playing for Tampa. Has anybody heard or seen any of the following players…..Tatar? Dougie Hamilton? That vaunted 3rd line of the Devils?
NOPE!!! The 4th line of the Devils has helped the Rangers by taking stupid penalties. Its Men versus children out there, Jackie, don’t break your stick and pout, Chipotle will still be your sponsor!! Maybe
you and Zegras can do a commercial, in, a week or so. Its been a fun 1st two games, 10 goals for the Rangers, 2 goals for the Devs, talking bout Raising Heck at the Rock!!!

TO THE JUNGLE, BABY!!!! MSG is going to be rocking on its foundation. There is no place better to watch a hockey playoff game. Period. This fan base is feeling it. Still a long way to go. Just win Game 3, Rangers, then we will go from there.

And if you need proof that the Devils lack that heart and hustle, watch
the Kane goal, watch the Devils who left Vanecek alone, up against Kane and Kreider. That was embarrassing. It was only 3-1 Rangers at the time.
Next stop: Madison Square Garden, Game 3. Keep up the play, NY Rangers, keep the foot on the gas.
